Mindil Aces are a long-standing member of Darwin soccer, forming in 1972.

In recent years the Club has sought to expand its base to the point where we can boast that we are the largest soccer Club in the NT, fielding teams in the men, women and junior competition of Darwin. Last year we had 10 junior teams in the under 6 to under 14 age range, 5 women's teams (open, under 18 and under 14) plus 4 senior men's teams, totalling over 300 players.

Between the three competitions in Darwin over 1500 men, women and kids play soccer with the club contributing 20% of that total.

We are a multicultural club representing the public, private and self employed sectors of Darwin and draw our financial resourcing from our own devices and some sponsorship.

As an amateur club we place a high priority on developing our junior players and the fact that we have one player with a national league team (Brisbane Strikers) and another with English Division One club Portsmouth, is an indication of our commitment and success in this regard.

Apart from our commitments locally, the Club has been involved on the international stage for the past ten years through its participation in the International Soccer Sevens in Singapore. The tournament is invitation only and Mindil Aces continues to be the only Darwin club to be represented each year.
